Montana Wedding Photographer: Josh and Kathy’s E-sesh!

Just a couple quick teasers from Josh and Kathy’s engagement session last night…  I couldn’t wait to post these, and there will be plenty more posted soon!

Josh and Kathy are close friends of ours, and together they run Lockie Photography.  Check out their site here: Bozeman Wedding Photographers

They will be getting married down in Bozeman this July, and I get to be a part of their wedding, as well as documenting part of it.  Sound crazy?  Well, that’s just the way we like it….  :)

Make them feel good; say nice things about them in the comment box!

Montana Wedding Photographer: Oliva and Tyson E-sesh

What better time to shoot an engagement session than on Valentine’s day, right?  Well, that’s exactly what we did with Olivia and Tyson on that Sunday afternoon!  The sun was shining, it was (kinda) warm, and so we made the most of it!

These guys brought some great outfits, which is always a bonus.  (Pink Converse for the win!)  I love engagement sessions because they are fun, and we get to do fun stuff (like multiple outfits, locations, etc)!  We spent some time downtown, which is one of my favorite locations for shooting.  Overall we had a great time, and I think we got some great pictures of them.  Can’t wait for the wedding this summer over at Kleffner Ranch.

Please feel free to leave some comment love for them, and I will also update this post tomorrow with the link to the full gallery.

Thanks!

Chris

Montana Wedding Photographer: Carrie and Ryan’s E-sesh!

So, as promised, here is the updated set from Carrie and Ryan’s snowy (and kinda chilly) engagement session we did this past weekend.  We had the chance to shoot these at Carrie’s mother’s house, which just so happens to be where their wedding will be this July!  Can’t wait for then; it will be beautiful out there!

These guys were a ton of fun, and I think their wedding will be a blast.  And kudos to them for braving the cold!

Also, if you want to check out the full set of images, you can see them here.

Thanks for visiting, and please feel free to leave some comments for us!

Montana Wedding Photographer: Katie and Casey’s Cold engagement session!

So, I got a call from Katie the other day.  They needed an engagement session done while her and her man Casey were both still here in Helena.  We found a time the next day to make it happen, and make it happen we did, despite the subzero temps.  We stopped a lot in random places to thaw out, but we made it work.  :)  Props to you guys for braving it!

Anyhow, we got some fun stuff, and I thought I would just share a few…  Hope you enjoy them, and leave some love in the comments box!

Melinna and Jeff: E-sesh

Got to do a last minute engagement session with Jeff and Melinna last week…  and by last minute I mean they are getting married in just under two weeks now.  :)

We had a beautiful evening waiting for us, and we took full advantage of it.  Found a beautiful little spot just off of a trailhead on the edge of town that was just perfect as the light was headed down…  I love nights like those; makes me love my job even more!

So, just a few for your enjoyment.  As always, feel free to leave some comments if ya like!

Melissa & Dustin: E-sesh

Had the great pleasure of doing Melissa and Dustin’s engagement session on Sunday evening.  It was a beautiful night in Missoula, and we had a blast walking around downtown for a couple hours.

I met Melissa at a wedding last year in Yellowstone where she was the videographer.  She owns Out of the Rain Productions, and is a pleasure to work with.

You’ll notice the middle 5 pics or so seem to be a bit of a sequence…  We had fun pretending they were in a photo booth, for reasons that will be clear to some of you later.  :)

Another wonderful evening spent doing something I love, hanging out with amazing people.  I am a lucky person!  Enjoy the images, and leave some comments!

Carlye and Bo - Engagement Session

Carlye and Bo came over a couple weeks ago so we do their engagement session.  We got to wander arround downtown Missoula for a couple hours, had a great time and got some fun pics!

I can’t wait to do the wedding at the Kleffner Ranch this summer.  One of my all time favorite venues around here.  Great couple + Sweet venue = Killer images.  Gotta love that!

So here’s just a couple from their session.  Hope you enjoy!
