I love these guys.  Seriously.  I had the chance to meet Brenda and Patrick last summer in Seeley Lake when I did their engagement session – and I’ve been looking forward to the wedding ever since. They got married at the beautiful Lodge at Whitefish Lake.  We had a perfect summer afternoon for the wedding – couldn’t have asked for better!  Whitefish is beautiful any time of year, but especially in the summer.

I love it when couples have details that are personal and meaningful to them, and not just for the sake of having details.  Wedding photographers generally love lots of beautiful details to shoot, but I think it is always better when it is personal.  For instance, the wings on Brenda’s bouquet belonged to her father.

Lots of thanks to Jeremiah and Rachel for tagging along and helping out.  Also, got the chance to work with Moonstone Pictures – highly recommend them!

Valerie and Todd were married in August here in Helena at Tizer Gardens – which was absolutely beautiful and still very green thanks to a very wet August!  They had a smaller wedding, as they flew here from their home in Hawaii.  They had all kinds of beautiful details – the bird theme ran throughout the wedding – from the little name cards at the reception to the little birds on the cake.  The cake, by the way, was done by the Vanilla Bean Bakery.

Valerie looked stunning in her Pronovias gown – it was perfect!  All the pearl accents were gorgeous, too.  The reception was held at the historic Windsor Ballroom in downtown Helena.  The delicious dinner was prepared by Benny’s Bistro – who’s food is always amazing.  And last, but certainly not least, the beautiful floral arrangements were done by Leslie’s Hallmark, who has done several of our weddings this year and done a great job!

Almost all of the friends and family traveled to Helena to attend the wedding, and it was fun to a part of such a great group of people who were all obviously more thanhappy to celebrate with Todd and Valerie.  Thanks for letting us be part of our day!

Ok, so I am just a LITTLE behind in my blogging.  Or a lot.  But who’s counting?

Natasha and Keith got married in September at the Temple in Salt Lake City.  Janna and I had fun working in a little more urban setting than we normally get a chance to…  The couple was totally laid back, relaxed, and just plain fun.  I think it comes through…

We also got to work with Stacey Tait, which was awesome.  Thanks Stacey for letting us be part of this team effort!

I had the great pleasure of being a part of Margaret and Andy’s wedding on Oct. 16th.  It was a small, intimate wedding, comprised mostly of family and some very close friends.  It was a very relaxed, pleasant sort of fall wedding.  Just the kind I like…

The ceremony was at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, and the reception was held at the beautiful Elkhorn View Bed and Breakfast.  The food was provided by Benny’s Bistro, and it was amazing, as usual!
